Leveraging the success of the Loop watch band, this is the first edition of Loop phone case offerings. The challenge was to use an inexpensive medium (silicone) to build the breadth of our product catalogue while increasing perceived brand value positioning. Heavily inspired by the vibrancy of urban lifestyle, and the expressive nature of evocative, abstract art (Franz Kline), the Loop Mummy was what resulted. The "flying", layered vectors were composed to allow for card storage. I was determined to make the case attractive with or without the card storage feature in use – something that was lacking in the market at the time.
